We're Running Out of Room!

Parkside Church, our current landlord and support partner, has offered us the future use of the building right next door to us for our clinic and office space. Our board of directors has approved plans for raising funds to improve the space and move our offices.

This location offers entry from ground level to every area without depending on stairways for clients or staff to access different floors. It also makes it possible to give clients a more secure counseling and exam area and provides additional security for medical records. While the space is only slightly larger than the house we now occupy, the use of the space is much more efficient and will be easier to maintain than where we are now.

Currently we deliver over $1.60 of goods and services for every $1.00 of our total budget. We do this by keeping operating costs down and by providing our free services on a donation or volunteer basis. We have served more clients this year than ever before and are continuing to grow as well as reach out to women and young families in need.

Since we are entirely community supported, we are asking our friends and supporters to participate in our Capital Campaign and raise money to help with the alterations to the building before we move in. You can help by donating, networking with those that can donate and by asking your church leadership to allow us to place a Capital Campaign poster/donation station in your church.

You can also check out our Cause on the Facebook Causes app.  Right now, you might be offered the opportunity to earn $15 for our cause simply by signing up for a free trial of NetFlix.  Other offers are provided to earn money for our cause or you can just choose to donate.  And you can invite your Facebook friends to join our cause too!  Two people spent a few minutes doing just a few activities on Causes and earned us our first $1 and then another person added a Causes Birthday Wish to Facebook.  This is a great way to spread the word.
