Ladies Tea 2011
Fun at the Fairgate ~ Classy and Successful
Classical music from a live string quartet on the balcony, flowers, crystal and twinkling lights made a beautiful
setting for an inspiring event. The fourth annual Ladies Tea Fundraiser for the CPC was a success both in attendance and giving.
A big Thank You goes out to all who attended and all who helped make the tea happen.

The Fairgate Inn was spectacular, the food
was delicious and beautifully presented, and the guest speaker was appreciated by everyone. Jim Anderson,
from Life-Line Ministries in Spokane addressed the root problems of abortion in our culture and society, and the healing that
needs to take place in the hearts of the women in crisis. Jim had some of his books and CDs available at the tea and took
time afterward to talk to those who had questions or wanted to find out more about his ministry.

This
was a perfect time to meet other supporters of the CPC and catch up with old friends as well as a time to be encouraged personally.
The buffet line was long, but it offered a time to socialize and fellowship and, at the end, the table offered fabulous and
attractive treats. “Restored” coordinator,
Jessica Layne, hosted and gave an outline of our women’s post-abortion ministry. Executive Director, Mark Maguire, recapped
both the clinic’s impact on the community for the previous year and the ministry’s commit-ment to use its funding
wisely for the continuance of its mission. Jessica Layne, hosted of this year’s
tea, said “It was an amazing time of community fellowship and united passions for positive impact within the community.”
The tea closed with the announcements of the results of the basket and doll auction. Everyone had a great time and it was
the most successful ladies fundraiser ever.
