Community Pregnancy Clinic is a 501c(3) community supported nonprofit organization. All of our services are free
to those in need. We exist to provide sound, healthy and moral guidance to pregnant or potentially pregnant women.
Our Staff
The CPC is staffed mainly by volunteers who give their time to assist women in making choices for life. We are under
the guidance of a volunteer MD who oversees our medical staff of volunteers including nurses and sonographers.
CPC is
always looking for Christian volunteers from the community who want to be trained to help in the clinic, office or for special
events.
Our Location
1542 NE 3rd Ave. Camas, WA 98607
(just east of Louis Bloch Park)
Our Mission
To provide compassionate help and hope to those who find themselves unprepared for pregnancy
To encourage
and support both practical and informational programs which help to stem the tide of unwanted pregnancies in our community.
To
make referrals when needed for social services, medical care, adoption, and for those who suffer emotional, physical or spiritual
trauma from previous abortion
To offer to all who wish to receive it, the Gospel of Jesus Christ in both work and
deed, and the love and compassion of true Christian fellowship.
Our Services
In addition to pregnancy testing we offer ultrasound services,
baby needs including formula, diapers, clothing and furnishings. We offer an education program for moms to be and some maternity
clothing. We have support groups for moms, dads, and women who need to deal with the trauma after having an abortion.
Our Impact
In 2010 the center gave out free of charge over 1,600 packages of diapers, 1,000+ items
of baby clothing, 500 items of baby food or formula, nearly 50 blankets and hundreds of other baby and maternity related items,
including cribs, strollers, breast pumps and maternity clothing. The retail value of all these articles would top $20,000.
Not only are we the only ministry in the area that focuses on these things for moms and babies, most of our clients are involved
in a learning program which allows them to earn these items by studying parenting and life skills.
Our clinic is staffed primarily by volunteer advocates along with a registered nurse, certified sonographer,
and an MD. The value contributed to the community by these volunteers is inestimable. Their time alone would cost the clinic
well over $50,000 a year, but it is the services provided by them that is the greatest gift by far. If our clients had to
pay for these services out of pocket, the bill would exceed $90,000.
Taken together
with the free clothing and food items we distribute, this clinic provides over $160,000 worth of free services to the community
with a budget of under $100,000. This makes a huge impact on the community every year. There are missions that use every dollar
of donor contributions to give help back to those they serve, but the CPC through God's grace, is able to multiply that contribution
and give back more than we bring in.
Yearly, we contribute more than:
134 pregnancy tests
26 ultrasounds
150
class-hours
1,800 volunteer hours
100+ hours Professional Medical services
